A remarkably busy and exciting few weeks for Carlow Cricket Club with a record amount of international cricket players visiting our club.
Cricket coaching for Girls in partnership with Bernard O’Mara from Cricket Leinster. Four-week programme culminating with a visit from Leah Paul, current Irish Women’s International cricketer.
Leah Paul, current Irish Women’s International cricketer also joined in the women’s session supporting women’s coach Yannam Vishnu Vardhan Reddy to take the session and Bernard O’Mara from Cricket Leinster gave a helping hand. The women got loads of bowling and batting tips that will be practiced throughout the 2023 season.
Cricket coaching: Simi Singh, current Irish Men’s International cricketer and Jeremy Bray, Munster Reds Head coach have both done indoor sessions with our members recently. Divided into small group sessions members from our Junior, Development and Adult teams took part in highly informative and practical sessions. We hope to continue these into the season.
Junior, Development, Adult men and women continue indoor training for at least another week or two.
